STEP 1:
Research the local small business/NGO. Investigate and identify problem-solving opportunities that can be solved by graphic design practices.
The research has to adhere to proper research techniques that cover:
Quantitative and qualitative analysis
Psychographics and demographics
Gain detailed information about them using the standard 5W1H and SWOT framework.
STEP 2:
Research for 5 case studies from a graphic design studio/company or advertising agency that have executed projects that are similar to what you've chosen. Preferably local.
Briefly explain the case study, make sure you cover the historical and contemporary aspects of the design project. Ideally, use a combination of printed and digital references to obtain the case studies.
