Due to its focus on creating documents (e.g. brochures, newspapers, books, etc.), Adobe InDesign provides more options and formats for creating prints, web pages, and other types of media. Some tools available on this software are similar to the ones found in Photoshop and Illustrator, however, there are quite a handful of different tools that may differ Photoshop and Illustrator from InDesign. Being document-production based software, InDesign does not focus on the use of adjustment layers and layer masks. One main difference is the existence of interactive PDFs that could be created by using InDesign.
